My 7 point mantra




1.Eat consciously. Eat whatever is going to give you energy and required nutrients. For eg- a pastry( 100 g) consumed is 500-600 cal ,made of all purpose flour( maida) and  icing made of refined sugar and cream,has hardly any nutritive value.To burn those calories you will have to run atleast 5 kilometers.So please think before you hog next time.


2.Eat home cooked food.I reduced  weight eating white rice ,so can you.You don't need to eat Quinoa to reduce weight!!! Our Indian diet doesn't make you fat ,its the junk ,the wrong eating habits topped up with  laziness thats makes you gain weight.


3.Eat seasonal  fruits grown in ur subcontinent. You need not eat exotic ,costly fruits.


4.Have a sustainable  diet plan.I do not believe in losing 10kg in 10 days kind of plan. Keto diet,protein supplements etc are short lived. Have a colorful and balance meal.


5.Walking is  the most sustainable exercise. Can be done anywhere ,anytime.People tell me gym is closed ,yoga class is shut and hence I gained weight.These are just excuses.

6.Your digital weighing machine and your smart watch are your best friends throughout  your  weight loss journey.

7.Each one is unique .Do not blindly follow a diet plan.Prepare a diet plan after discussion with a doctor .
