Pandemic Platter
The whole world has been hit badly by the second wave of the pandemic.
Though there are no foods that will ‘boost’ our immune system immediately prevent or treat COVID-19, healthy balanced diet is still essential for good health and normal immune function.
Here are few tips which I have assimilated after going through research articles and discussions with pulmonologists ,ENT surgeons and covid 19 patients.
1.Dont panic during the pandemic make your pandemic platter colorful.
2.Avoid refined,processed and packaged food.
3.Whenever you feel hungry between meals have watermelon, cucumber, tender coconut water.
4.Indulge in moderate exercises ,deep breathing exercises and relaxation exercises.
5.Consume 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Can add chia seeds/ mint leaves to your water.
I'm sharing a diet plan which can be followed by patients on home isolation with mild symptoms without diabetes mellitus and chronic diseases like Systemic hypertension with Ishpeming Heart Disease,Chronic kidney disease etc.
